Rhineland-Palatinate Open-Air Museum
Experience what it was really like!
Idyllically situated between woods and meadows is a unique collection of contemporary witnesses made of stone, wood and clay: on a 35-hectare, extensive site, criss-crossed by cobblestone paths, you will find almost 40 historic buildings from various regions of Rhineland-Palatinate, which have been dismantled stone by stone from their original locations and faithfully rebuilt and furnished in the museum.
