The"Felke Heil- und Aktivwald" has been created in the "Am Maasberg" municipal forest and local recreation area in Bad Sobernheim.
The "Maasberg" north of the town of Bad Sobernheim is part of the local recreation area of the town of Bad Sobernheim. With its old trees, its location and accessibility as well as a charming "Hubertuslust" barbecue area, it offers ideal conditions for slowing down or for active fitness training.
With the "Felke Healing and Active Forest", elements of water, light, air and clay bathing according to Felke are to be taken up and integrated into a "forest bath".
A wide-ranging community of players consisting of representatives from the spa and wellness hotels and the Asklepios Clinic, as well as forest therapists, fitness specialists, physiotherapists and many experts have devised a variety of offers and have already implemented some of them. Activities such as Qi-Gong, healing forest walks, meditations etc. are already taking place regularly. Elementary school and kindergartens also use the forest. Parent-child activities are being considered and cooperation with retirement homes is also being planned.
The current offers of the Felke Healing and Active Forest can be found here:
On three different trails, you have the opportunity to experience the Felke elements of light, air, water and clay according to the teachings of the naturopath Pastor and to experience the forest with all your senses:
Along the 4.5 km long "healing trail" in the healing forest, there are information boards about the Felke elements and suggestions for forest bathing.
In the "Healing Forest for All", selected stations on the 1.2 km barrier-free circular trail invite you to consciously listen, smell, taste and see. A forest clearing, equipped with seating, offers space and invites you to meditate. There is a barrier-free toilet and barrier-free parking spaces at the starting point of the barrier-free trail.
In the"active forest", there are numerous stations along a route of over 5.2 km that encourage climbing, balancing, crawling and jumping. These exercises are based on the movements of forest dwellers - wild boars, squirrels, deer, ants and many more.
