The hands-on museum "Nahe der Natur" in Staudernheim is a small creative museum on a variety of nature conservation topics. Inside, there are small treasure troves with natural objects that tell stories you can touch.
The 7-hectare outdoor area includes an old quarry where stones were once even quarried for the Berlin Reichstag. Today, a magical little forest wilderness can be discovered here on up to 4 kilometers of paths with many stations. The experience for all the senses can be rounded off in the associated nature café, which is also accessible without visiting the museum.
